VRM stands for Virtual Railroad Models

While looking for some information on the internet, I came across several links to a product called VRM, and I believe it to be something like Wintrack or Railmodeller for Japanese N-scale models, but with 3d simulation included. There are some websites offering free add-ons, however I wasn't able to find a demo-version. The screenshots, on the other hand, are very promising and make me think the software actually allows to try structure and rolling stock by Tomix, Kato etc. before actually buying it, which would be very handy. I wonder if someone here has any information on this VRM: what it is, what it does, etc.

You can plan your layout with the TOMIX Finetracks Software. The Layouts you have build with it can load in the VRM (it is from tomix, too) to do a virtual trainride on it.
