KenS Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) According to the Japanese Wikipedia (Japanese) page, they've started scrapping these, and a half-dozen have been "preserved" in various ways. They're getting pretty old, and the EF210 was designed to handle the same kinds of trains these have been pulling. Edit: the preserved are all series 0 now that I read more carefully. I think the article says that they've started reducing the 100 series due to EF210, but it's not crystal clear. Edited February 17, 2013 by KenS Link to comment
