request: google map applet

Martijn, could the board be made to display google map applets, or applets from other map sites?  I just thought of this when creating a new thread about Nankai/Semboku interlining ( http://www.jnsforum.com/community/topic/6999-nankai-semboku-semi-express-nankai-namba-to-izumi-ch%C5%AB%C5%8D/ )

Hmm.. I'd have to look into that.. I don't use Google that often, and their maps only once a month at most, so I'm not sure how the applets work.. Are they just URLs with a bunch of parameters in them?

Yes, when you use maps.google.com you can copy a link that will reproduce the location you're looking at.  Tennoji Station:

It looks like it also keeps options that you have set (labels or no lables, in this case)

I'll have a look. There's a BBCode add-on that allows posting of Google Maps links as far as I can tell, but supposedly it doesn't work with the newest version of the forum software. I'll play around with it a bit and see if I can get it to work though.
