Mr Frosty
Excellent BBC TV programme featuring the history of model railways (from a UK perspective) from the 1900's to the present day. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01q9vhy http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01q9vhy/Timeshift_Series_12_The_Joy_of_%28Train%29_Sets/ Those overseas members may need to use a UK proxy to view. http://www.justproxy.co.uk/ Link to comment
VJM
Saw this. Quite good. Fascinating stuff about Basset-Lowke. I guess I'm too young to appreciate the tinplate / 3-rail / wind-up era, so I was somewhat disappointed that there was so little modern models featured. Link to comment
Claude_Dreyfus
It makes a change to have a sensible program on model railways! It was nice to see Pempoul featured so heavily (the Gravatt's French layout)...it is an amazing layout; if any layout should be seen as a show-case for the hobby, this is it. Link to comment
Ochanomizu
I look forward to viewing it. Link to comment
