Ok, here's the first of several polls.

Where's the EF65, my third favorite behind the EH500 and EF66? I'm gonna stick it in if you don't mind.

 

Update: Added EF65. Found there wasn't enough room to add the EF80, EF81, ED73, ED74, ED75, ED76 or ED79. Oh well! Poor little AC locos don't get no love.

 

Also, with so many choices and so few of us, I made it pick three, if you don't mind :D

For me its definitely the EF58 and the EF66.

I excluded the EF55 as it fell under the old 1933 JNR class rules.

Man, no love for Seibu, either. The Seibu E851 came in fourth for me, so I couldn't vote for it, even with the extended voting rules I imposed on Shashinka's thread. But come on! It's like the Yellow Submarine version of the EF65! How is that not awesome?

I've ridden on some very nice trains that weren't anywhere near that long. In fact, I've been on some perfectly good *ships* that aren't that long.

In no particular order: ED16, ED19, ED22, ED60, ED75-500.

EF 55 and 68 are tied it looks like.

I voted for the 851, along with EF63 and EF65. I like the squared-off ends. EF66 just leaves me feeling "meh."

I love the EF66's, man they even come in two body styles.

EH500 for me - I really love the design and the livery is smart as well, so its my number one favourite loco for me .

The EH500 has great lines, but I'm still a fan of the EF58.
