Existing HTML markup not processed correctly

I just noticed that Don's sticky'd posts in the DCC & Electrical section have HTML tables, but the actual HTML codes are now being displayed rather than interpreted.  That's probably related to the different way HTML is handled by the new code, as was discussed yesterday in a different bug report. But unlike a new post, changing all the old ones by hand doesn't seem like a good way to fix this problem.

 

Maybe all posts that predate the conversion could be interpreted as using the HTML approach?

I think the problem might be that HTML tables aren't allowed in posts, I will check it out.
