Eisenbahn
Recently I was in Penang, Malaysia. Here are some photos of the Penang Hill Railway. Originally it was to ferry people and goods to houses on Penang Hill. It overlooks Georgetown from where the British once administered the country. Now it is mainly a tourist attraction. The rail car is new and airconditioned and the lower terminal pictured has been revamped. To get there you walk along a path from the carpark over a small goods weighbridge (pictured..see the metal plate and the red levers). It had a metal plaque ..."Manchester" and the max number of tons. Link to comment
