Hobby Dreamer
Hi Nick ! There are several threads on paper/card stock models on this forum.. but here is a link to get you started: http://www.cardfaq.org/faq/ A lot of European/British layouts use card stock for structures.. bikkuri bahn
I wonder about the compound curves on the upper surfaces of cab fronts/roofs- I see the multiple layering, as well as the fashioning of headlight space recesses, but how is it smoothed out? With styrene or wood it can be sanded, but won't the fibrous nature of paper preclude that? Perhaps filled in with putty? Link to comment
cteno4
With some good papers you can do some interesting shapes and curves by wetting the paper and pressing into forms. You can also sand it after doping it. Jeff Link to comment
