Ochanomizu Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Some of this upgrade work is necessary, but some is also to appease the tourists. One particular example of this is Suehiro-cho station. You cannot pass from platform 1 to platform 2 unless you exist the station, go up to the street, cross the main road, and go back down to the other side. This has never bothered locals however outsiders frequently complain. Link to comment
