At the bottom it says the antenna is a switch This accords well with the diagram. Have you tried rotating or rocking the antenna? Link to comment
lbriand_fr
No I didn't try. Since my old DC transformer broke down I have to use my DCC system. So, before testing this DE10, I must install a decoder. Thanks for the translation. Link to comment
Bernard
This little switch reminded me of something. When I got my MicroAce train there was a diagram underneath with a switch for the headlight. Once I installed a decoder I had to have the switch in the off position or it would effect the decoder. You might not have this problem but if you do it could be the headlight switch. Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Many of these switches just cut the power to the lightboard. My Kato KIHA110 had such a switch on one side, so that it could be put in a consist. I left the switch in, but I bypassed it in my re-wiring for DCC. It was just a plastic piece that, when "off", got shoved between the lightboard contacts and the truck pick-ups, breaking the contact. This might be a bit more sophisticated though. Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Argh, DE10. I think this one is a Micro Ace :D Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
The paper looks like a microace yes.. I had 2 of them, gave 1 to my father.. Installed a decoder in that one as well actually, not an easy one to open up =) Link to comment
lbriand_fr
Yes, it's a MicroAce. I like the DE10, and this one has been chosen by my 5 years old daughter. She said "Wouha, il est trop beau celui avec les dauphins!". Link to comment
