certainly gets your attention and that dumb tune will stick in the little gray cells...

Experience: Given the number of times my wife has walked up to me and sang "So many dumb way to die…", I can say the "catchy" factor is sky-high.

It's made a big stir here in AUS... it's a great film and that rolling eye-ball caught my attention as well :)

I just can't help but think that they haven't focussed on the actual issue at hand... the whole point is that it's by a railroad operator.

I would've preferred that they had the same railway incident at the end of each 'verse'. ... adding the others in the final verse.

A catchy tune _plus_ repetition would have won.

I agree, by the time you get to the rail related stuff they are just 'another dumb way to die' and the intended message isn't as strong.

i agree, ending each verse with the more common rr mishaps would have made the contrast that you dont have to be doing something odd to do something stupid and get killed like standing in tracks, beating crossing gaurds, etc

i get into this all the time with clients when the medium becomes the message and the content gets lost. im always waving my arms about the content. staff use to hate my old monkier "its the content, stupid!". but soo true in the modern world and the flood of information where the presentation becomes the focus to try and make it compete that way and the content gets lost in the shuffle... sigh.
