Guest Closed Account 1
I have a young lady at the train museum building a fantasy layout that's pretty gothic. The dragons are big enough to carry HO but so what. Her flex track is spot on. Does anyone have a source for castles or kits? I guess even something that looks 1:160 like a pewter structure. cteno4
the pewter ones ive seen are usually not very big (like 3-4" square) and thus i doubt close to 1/160. i do remember seeing a lot of castles as papercraft models. many euro castles have kits or print sets to build them. sorry never bothered to link them or even download the free ones as wasnt really needing any euro castles. might look around in 1/144 scale as thats a more normal modeling scale or 1/72 even more prevalent. Might also check out the wargaming stuff at 10 and 12mm scales. jeff Link to comment
KenS
Kibri makes a small castle in N-scale: http://www.eurorailhobbies.com/erh_detail.asp?mn=6&ca=35&sc=N&stock=K37304 Faller also made an N-scale castle, although I think it looks more like a manor house. I think it's been discontinued, but there appear to be some out there still. http://www.eurorailhobbies.com/erh_detail.asp?mn=8&ca=35&sc=N&stock=F-232242 http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/fal/fal232242.htm Link to comment
