Has anyone come across the train travel books of this Japanese writer?

In particular has anyone come across English translations of his "Aho Ressha (Idiot Train) series - humorous short stories about his travels around the country by train"?

His travel for the series was aimed only at riding trains, and nothing else.

I find it ironic that the article, at the end "Travel tip", gives access information to Yatsushiro station by plane and bus.
