miyakoji
Tobu Railway has had 2 2-car 6050 series trains modified into something similar to JR's so-called Joyful Trains. These are being designated 634 series. They will be used on services from Tokyo Sky Tree Station to Tobu Nikko and other excursions. The cars have places for baggage and service counters. I hope they have some cool tetsudou goods for sale! Guest ___
Are those 634's DMUs or do they require the DE10 move them when in regular service? Also, find it interesting that in the video they required two flag men to protect the crossing and yet still had person on the pilot as watch. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
They're emu's. Link to comment
miyakoji
For any Tobu fans and anyone who would like to model this train, YT contributors karibajct and tobu2181 have some serious coverage: by karibajct: run-by scenes onboard and window views by tobu2181: out-of-service transport in greater Tokyo area, detail of both sides at Hanyu Station out-of-service movement under own power. Not specifically designated as test runs but I'm guessing that's what's happening Link to comment
