repair and regauging of Kintetsu Nagoya Line

Here's an interesting video about the repair and regauging of the Nagoya Line, which is the section from Ise-Nakagawa to Nagoya. It was badly damaged by the 1959 Ise Bay Typhoon and in the process of repairing it they also regauged it to 1435mm from 1067mm.  The scrolling comments get to be maddening.

That's a very good video, had it in my bookmarks, but never posted it as the the scrolling comments make my blood boil in their inanity.  Those who can't read Japanese are lucky.

The original video is from Nico Nico Douga. It seems they didn't turn off the comments when downloading it and uploading to youtube.
