bill937ca Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 The Fukui Tetsudō operates a single 21.4 km rail line from Fukui from a connection with JR West at Echizen Takefu. Not too long ago the Fukui Railway operated a collection of old EMUs. Newer interurbans arrived from the former Meitetsu 600v lines at Gifu in 2006. Some older stock is retained for school runs. There is some street running on the inner end of the line. Here`s five short clips. It does snow during the winter, when ancient box motor 11 is used as a snowplow. 1 Link to comment
