tramway1435
Hi, I have uploaded a few 1970s/1980s scans of slides I purchased a while ago to the following site. Can anyone help in identifying the locations (operator/system)? Thanks for your help. ToniBabelony
Those are some pretty damn fly pictures there. I'm pretty tired a.t.m., so I only could recognise one correctly. 215020 = Towada Kankou Tetsudou, Misawa Station; KUHA 4400 Type, No. 4406 EMU trailer car. Most probably attached to a 3400 or 3800 Type EMU motor car. Link to comment
marknewton
The ones I'm certain of: 178013: Keihan Electric Railway works car. 208019: Chitetsu/Toyama District Railway, ex-Kaetsuno Railway car, converted to works car/snowplough, most likely at Minami-Toyama. 410049, 448055 & 454056: Hokuriku Railway, will check locations. The ones I'm taking a guess on: 161009: Looks like Toyama. 442054: Nokomi Railway? Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
442054 is definitely the Nogami Rlwy in Wakayama Pref. It's the moha 20 type (no. 24), ex-Hanshin 601 series. Sorry, can't give you location. 502064 = Kurihara Denen Rly (taken where?) Wakayanagi Station Link to comment
marknewton
I must have been asleep when I typed that! Of course I meant the Nogami Railway. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment

ToniBabelony
I have another mystery photo. Any idea where and what? Date is May 1991 The stainless steel EMU looks like a 2nd hand unit from the Hokuriku Railway on the Oigawa Railway company (6000 Series) Here's a movie from the same year of the same train hurling past on the slopes of the Oi river. The snowplow loco: I have not a clue at the moment. Link to comment

bikkuri bahn
Toyama again, I believe. Right you are, deki 6502. Some very nice scenes from 1975, around closure time: http://ameblo.jp/b1hanabusa/entry-11174448834.html Some other nice pics of the Sasazu line, including one of 6502 (early 70's): http://tsushima-keibendo.a.la9.jp/toyama/sasadu.html 1 Link to comment

I like the combination of low platforms, tram-like rolling stock and freight operations on this one. A very attractive place to get inspiration for a layout. Link to comment
