Davo Dentetsu
I acquired a bridge. But no ordinary bridge... Scratch built by a local club member (I shall endeavor to find his name), his main interest was actually to scratchbuild bridges in modular units. Wooden trestle bridges, steel girder bridges, you name it he done it. As he's now vacated a property, his works moved to the local club in search of homes to go to. I only had a small offering available, so was surprised somewhat to get the nod. Measuring the bridge, it stands at 40cm tall and is no shrinking violet length wise at 165cm (that's nearly as tall as I am...). On it stands a Class 153 (it's had very little running lately, so got put in place as a display for now). 1 Link to comment

Claude_Dreyfus
Interesting model...looks like half (or less) of the Forth Bridge. Link to comment
Davo Dentetsu
Is he a descendant of Isambard Kingdom Brunel? Rich K. I wouldn't have doubted it if I was told that. Claude, because some see it as a third of the Forth, they dub it the "Twelfth Rail Bridge". :D Link to comment
The_Ghan
It looks .... "well engineered" ... Is it for your train or your car ... Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment
Davo Dentetsu
Heh, that can be answered in two ways: 1. The train present on the bridge is a 153 single coach DMU. 2. I just moved the poster behind higher and out of the way. :P Link to comment
