mwsteele
Opening up my Dr. Yellow to see how to install the lights the bottom part came up and the two couplers popped off. There is a little spring in them, I have that, but trying to get it back on is horrendous! If I get one on the end weighs so much that without something ontop of it it just falls off again! How can I put this back together?! Link to comment
Guest Closed Account 1
I remember when I was a coupler spring virgin. :) Put the car on your Test track. Just a 2 foot board with 2 tracks and bumpers. Couple another car to it to stabilize the coupler as you assemble it. Stay calm and don't budge the cars or that spring will land in the next room. Avoid setting the wheels on glass and rock ballast, use a dedicated mouse pad or a foam cradle to work on them. Link to comment
mwsteele
I got one back in, the other was messed up from my tweasers. I'm going to have to order a couple from Kato... Right now I'm running it with 1 springed the other not. Works fine, just looks a bit off and I'm sure it's easier to derail. Link to comment
