All built by Nippon Sharyo, these are delivered by truck to the yard and shop at Fujigaoka Station, the eastern terminus of the Higashiyama Line. two intermediate cars coming off the road transport truck and on to railway trucks: same for an end car: some movements at Fujigaoka Station: On a related note, I thought the delivery of the Tsurumai Line N3000s last year was via the JRF Nagoya-ko Line to the Subway's Meiko Shop, but I think they didn't follow the route I had originally assumed. They seemed to have ended up at Higashi-Nagoya-ko (East Nagoya Port). I guess from here they went into the Meitetsu network, maybe someone else can confirm. This is the same area that Nick_Burman posted about in the Meitetsu Higashi-Nagoya-ko thread http://www.jnsforum.com/index.php/topic,6987.0.html . In this video by YT poster AGUIMOVIE, you can see the cars going around the Meirin/Meitetsu connector at 4:00, the creaking noise is like fingernails on a chalkboard, and at the end at 12:45, you can see Meirin's ND55s crossing the diamond, going south I think. 1 Link to comment

It appears they were ferried at night from the Nagoya Ko Line to Kanayama, then on the main line to Chiryu, then onto the Mikawa Line to Toyohashi, for the connection to the Tsurumai Line and the ultimate destination of Akaike (Nisshin Works). Densha Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 I still like how some Japanese's metros look like mini versions of their commuter trains. you can see Meirin's ND55s crossing the diamond I always love those old locos, they actually give you a diesel loco feeling to it. Link to comment
