recent deliveries to the Nagoya Municipal Subway

Uploaded by YT contributor wisteriaforest2001, here are some videos of Nagoya Municipal Subway taking delivery of another N1000 set.  All built by Nippon Sharyo, these are delivered by truck to the yard and shop at Fujigaoka Station, the eastern terminus of the Higashiyama Line.

On a related note, I thought the delivery of the Tsurumai Line N3000s last year was via the JRF Nagoya-ko Line to the Subway's Meiko Shop, but I think they didn't follow the route I had originally assumed.  They seemed to have ended up at Higashi-Nagoya-ko (East Nagoya Port).  I guess from here they went into the Meitetsu network, maybe someone else can confirm.  This is the same area that Nick_Burman posted about in the Meitetsu Higashi-Nagoya-ko thread http://www.jnsforum.com/index.php/topic,6987.0.html .

 

In this video by YT poster AGUIMOVIE, you can see the cars going around the Meirin/Meitetsu connector at 4:00, the creaking noise is like fingernails on a chalkboard, and at the end at 12:45, you can see Meirin's ND55s crossing the diamond, going south I think.

It appears they were ferried at night from the Nagoya Ko Line to Kanayama, then on the main line to Chiryu, then onto the Mikawa Line to Toyohashi, for the connection to the Tsurumai Line and the ultimate destination of Akaike (Nisshin Works).  Here is the routing of one such move:
