dwesterdale
Hi these mass transit cars look really awesome, does anyone have experience with these? Here is the link - http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/Kato-p/kat-k10707.htm I'm trying to find out what the minimum radius is for this set. And if the set is 1:150 or 1:160 scale. I know they're not models of Japanese prototypes, but they are made by Kato so hoping this is the forum for me. :) I'm modeling mostly european, but have an urban area, where a lot of the kato products seem to really fit well. If these can navigate sharp curves I'd love to add these to the next section I'm planning which is an underground section along the facia board of my layout. Thank you! david. Link to comment
mamochan
Sounds like it is 1/160. Also, as per it's review on this site: http://www.1zu160.net/test/kato-et425.php it navigated a 192mm curve with no issue, no mention of how it looked navigating that narrow of a curve though. Link to comment
The_Ghan
HS lists it as 1:160. ModelTrainStuff is offering a good price too, especially if you're in the US. Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment
