Cab ride on Meitetsu's Higashi-Nagoya-Ko branch. Towards the end one can see the flat crossing over the Meirin (Nagoya Rinkai) and the track connection.

Nagoya's heavily industrial Minato and Minami Wards, a fine selection  .  Got a little map here: http://goo.gl/maps/cFgqu .  Despite being somewhat familiar with the area I couldn't quite place this line.  Just to the southwest of the station, diagonal across the intersection and over one more, there's a building with an orange roof, and next to that some tanks or small structures arranged in an unusual arc pattern.  It must be a former right-of-way, you can easily see it merging with the line that extends west beyond the station.

I'm kicking myself for missing this line while I was clocking up Meitetsu mileage in Nagoya last year. I guess I'll have to go back one day.
