Krackel Hopper
I really like this idea. It's one of those block calendars, but with containers. Appears to be 17 twelve foot containers. Each side of the container has a different month/day/number. Also comes with the Tomytec display track and two Kumo 1 flat cars. The calendars will be available in a "regular" and a "tetsudou-musume" design. Unfortunately, they do not have a picture of what the tetsudou-musume containers will look like.. but the normal are nice and simple. If on a exhibition layout, would be cool to put the current date in a container yard.. surrounded by a bunch of other random containers. Just one of those little things that some people, but not everyone would catch. Pre-orders just went up at HobbySearch. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10194975 - Normal http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10194976 - Tetsudou Musume http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10194976b/30/1 Link to comment
the_weird_one
I really like these, may actually be my first purchase in the realms of doing my layout as they are kind of affordable for me, though I'd use them as a reminder for the date I next want to run my cleaning train through the layout.
