saddest monorail story in Japan

Dreamland Station is now a parking lot, while the site of the Ofuna station has been turned into an apartment block.

Mono=one ril=rail. And you can not catch mono from riding the monorail ^_^

I remember seeing the rusting hulk of the elevated station at Ofuna whenever I took the Yokosuka Line to go to Yokohama, back in the 70's and 80's.  Sad and a little creepy too, with the abandoned thin concrete monorail track slithering through backlots and hugging the hillside until disappearing behind some grove of vegetation.

i seen some of this it gives that mysterious abandoned feel i love.

 

I enjoy investigating old abandoned places and theres a really large variety in japan.

That monorail station is very dangerous, there's a lot of fence missing.
