cteno4
Lately i was looking to get some more jazz to fill in what i have on some jazz. I stumbled upon the Real Tyme records 8 album sets. These are 8 albums by an artist in a 4 disc set, retailing around $15-25, but can be had new thru amazon by various sellers for $5-10 plus $3 shipping. so for around $10 or so i was able to get 8 full albums (most remastered nicely or live recordings) of an artist. quite nice. herbie mann is fluting along right now! cheap way to fill in your music collection legally! jeff Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Try looking up Caro Emerald, it's a Dutch artist doing some pretty good jazzy stuff. It's hard to describe the style exactly, it's a bit of a mix of a lot of stuff. You'll likely have to go for some mp3's, don't thinks she's very popular in the US (yet)... I'm more into vinyl again these days, much more expensive than your average CD, but in many cases they do sound better (providing you have a good quality setup), and they're a lot more fun than a CD :) Link to comment
