Repairing/Sounding Trix ICE-1 N12123(JPG,MP4)

Hello

 

At last, my hands are coming to my old 3-car  N Trix N12123 ICE-1 with bad motor.

 

I lengthen it to 6 car train!

 

Now, train consists from 2 separate identical 3-car trains with hot locos, motor & sound.  

Each sub-train has constant couplings with wires for current pickup joining in aim to achieve uninterruptable soung and good pickup!  

One intermediate coupling, which join both sub-trains haven't any electrical joinings and easy uncoupleable!

 

 

New train are mooving as follows:

DETAILS:

 

 

1)Motor test at 9V (idle running) :

TRIX motor - 350 mA

Maxon Kit for ICE-1- 7 mA!

 

There is no words for TRIX company!

 

 

2)

Old passenger car current electric pickup proceed strong brking, and one loco move 3 car train at hill 2.5% with strong difficulties!

I discard it at all!

I make needle-current conductive bearings for all wheels and axles with axle-isolators.

 

Now, one loco  without traction tires can freely move 6 cars at 2.5% hill!

3)Trucks were springed using old current pickup springs:

4) Old TRIX coupling disable vertical movements of cars and lead to crashes!  

They were deleted.

I make my own couplings with wires in aim to allow cars freely move vertically:

5) There is a magnetic uncoupleable coupling between 2 sub-trains:

6) LoudSpeaker were placed to fuel tank instead of pantograph switcher.

7) Pantograph was joined to decoder's inside power  via 2 diodes, in aim to pass reverse loops and give more stable power.

 

8) 2  Locos have tantalum  powerpacks in aim to achieve uninterruptable sounds!

 

9)  Loco has Axle-springing:

11) Old truck contact with loco body add noise and momentum. therefore it  was substituted by wires:

So it had a coil suspension and a sound decoder?
