I guess I'm most curious about the loco depicted, it looks like a DF200 which to my knowledge is operated only by JR Freight in Hokkaido. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn Posted May 29, 2012 Share Posted May 29, 2012 There is some speculation it will be a customized DF200 with reduced axle load (the current DF200 has a 16 ton axle load, too much for example, the Sekihoku Line) to enable it to run on the lighter non-electrified lines. I would think 2xDD51 would be more typical, but if JR Kyushu has the money, well... Link to comment
