bill937ca
It seems several of us are on tight budgets whether it be because of a tight job market or seasonal job market or just tight budgets. Here are a couple of small projects from Japanese sources. You may want to translate the article with Google Translate, but many of us will only need dimensions and ideas for materials. The first is a short RMM Staff Blog article from 2006-09-13 on the easiest structure construction. The article gives the dimensions for the pieces in a photo. The material they were using is Evergreen Models # 4525 Metal Siding, but really any styrene would do. The next is a blog article on creating a side of the road bus stop shelter for a B train layout. The shelter slope is 20mm at the front and 13mm at the back. There is also a B-train layout plan for any of you with left over Tomix track. There is also a farmer`s field created with some corrugated packing material. These may not be the most elaborate models, but they are something to keep the hands busy. 5 Link to comment
