This is quite a pair of videos from November 2010 by YT contributor angelspringsTavio.  The now-retired 181 series DMUs were operated by JR West on various services including the Hamakaze which is what's shown here.  It had been taken off of other limited express services such as the Matsukaze and Inaba when the 187 series tilting DMUs began to enter service in the early '00s.  With the arrival of the new 189 DMU, the 181s were retired completely with some being shipped to Myanmar.  The title is "Last Sound of the DML30HS," the model of the 12-cylinder horizontally opposed engine that was used in these.
