JR West Kuroshio Limited Express, 381 and 283 series

Here are two rides on the Kuroshio, one from Kyoto all the way down to Shingu on a 381 series, the second on a 283 series starting at Shin-Osaka.  All videos courtesy of YT contributor JRwtrains.

 

This service is simply the Kuroshio as of the March 17th schedule revision, the Ocean Arrow and Super Kuroshio names are no more.  According to English Wikipedia, the 381s on this service will be completely retired by September of this year, leaving the Hakubi Line's Yuttari Yakumo as the last service with this JNR-era rolling stock.
