Cutting a hole in the side of a building is not a very realistic way of disguising the tracks entering the hidden staging yard. :grin

Did you mention holes in buildings?

Alas destroyed by the Kobe earthquake.  The station itself is still there, a nice one with an arched roofshed.

Nice cutaway floorplans of the building:

The first video was taken from the recently opened Hikarie Building.  Worth a visit if just to photograph the Toyoko Line terminal trainshed before it's closed/demolished and the line shifted underground.

Not really Japanese, but in The Hague they have trams going through buildings, even with a lot of switches and tunnels and stuff. At the moment you can see it at this page, but I don't know how to get a direct link to the article: http://haagsetrams.com/actueel/actueel.html (last two pictures are links to videos)

On-topic: I have something for trains going through buildings, now that I think about it, maybe I should implement it in a future layout.

I've made the correction on keitaro's behalf ... that's what populating your carriages with over 300 z scale people does to you ...  :grin

Cheers
