Kato/Lemke ET425 coupling problems

I have 2 of these and on three on the six couplers, it is difficult to impossible to couple the cars. The albeit neat couplers appear either flimsy or mis cast, in that they sag.

 

Is anyone else seeing this? Tee-USA, the distributor has offered to contact Lemke for replacements. I will wait and see.

this is the first I've read about the et425 having problems. I've seen lots of images and some video. They look great. Other than the coupling, what are your impressions of it?

Sorry for the late response. Other than coupling they are beautiful. My vendor Tee USA, ordered replacement couplers (the subassembly that contains the couplers) meanwhile I'm running just the end cars. I put DCC in them and aside from the problem I am having with oune of the lighting decoders, I love em. I will be buying a 426 when they come out.

The US store I bought the ET425s in can't get parts. He forwarded me the email from Lemke that they are unavailable. Does anyone know Lemkes Warranty Policy?
