bill937ca
Modemo is re-issuing the Meitetsu 600v (Nagoya Railroad) 750 series interurbans as either a motor or a trailer car. These cars passed from the scene along with the Tanigumi line in 2001. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10183308 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10183311 These cars operated on a separate 600V network, not connected to the main Meitetsu network and centered on Gifu. The lines of the 600v network closed in March 2005. 1 Link to comment
Nick_Burman
Before coming to the Gifu lines, the 750s were mainline equipment - they were the remnants of the 600V era one the lines out of Nagoya. I think they were on the Seto line before being transferred to Gifu. In any case they are lovely pieces of hardware... Cheers NB 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
The lines of these cars are very North American standard and I would expect them to go fast. Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Not only are they re-issuing these models, but they also come with front lighting! I must say I'm very very tempted to order one, but I really shouldn't... Link to comment
bill937ca
My 750s have arrived. I found videos of a neat little layout. These videos are two years old so its probably a previous release. 2 Link to comment

Nick_Burman
In "front-line" service on the Seto line, just before voltage was raised to 1500V. Cheers NB Link to comment
