cteno4
ok so you want a big container yard, but dont want to pay for all those containers... heres a site with a load of international 20, 40, and 45' containers to print out as papercraft. he even has blocks of 4 done in one show for larger stacks. we have used this technique with 12' containers on the jrm layout in the past. unless you get up to 2' or less you cant tell its a block of cardboard! http://home.wanadoo.nl/schatborn/ and another site http://igshansa.de/igsdownloadeng.html cheers jeff Link to comment

cteno4
give em a whirl. you can also bring these into a graphics editing program and make stacks of your own combos! we have been doing this for the big main stacks of containers on the jrm site and folks dont notice they are paper blocks from a couple of feet. certainly beats trying to set up stacks of containers and get them all nice and neat! ask aaron, i use to stick him with that job if he showed up late for a set up! cheers jeff Link to comment
