cteno4
hey with all the folks down under in the group, i thought i would ask if anyone thought the car that ate paris was a movie worth tracking down. ive seen it come up a couple of times as interesting australian film, so my curiosity is piqued. i actually love off beat stuff and quirky is good in my book and australians seem to do quirk the best, so im always looking for those from south of the equator. thanks jeff Link to comment
The_Ghan
... and australians seem to do quirk the best ... Jeff, You obviously don't know much about Australians .... we do "drinking" the best .... "quirk" comes in around 3rd or 4th ... depending on how much we've had to drink ... Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment

marknewton
Jeff, I saw this film years ago, and I thought it was woeful. I don't know that I'd call this movie quirky, more like half-baked. So many Australian films of the period were designed to take advantage of generous government funding and tax concessions that niceties such as a coherent script soon became redundant... All the best, Mark. Link to comment
