Nick_Burman
Hi all, Could anyone please enlighten me about a Japanese (prototype) locomotive manufacturer called Mori Works? They made small gas/diesel-mechanical locos with a very particular look to them, they were all center-cab units with the engine on one hood and the transmission on the other. Final drive was usually by jackshaft and side rods. Their products made their way into several shortlines, three examples being the Kaya, Kubiki (762mm gauge) and Hokutan Railways. The Kaya and Kubiki locos are preserved. Cheers NB Link to comment
