tomix 0331 tn coupler

this is a cancelled item and the last shipment from tomix i strongly recomend any one who has a model that uses this coupler to buy a pack or two for spares.

Your header is an 0331 and the pointer is to an 0334. Which are you worried about?

They are both the same coupler.

I had my Japanese dealer dig into this. Here is his reply. I think we are in fine shape:

 

Coupler 0331 is still on the Tomix product list, but they have no stock and no production scheduled. Will check with Tomix on Monday as to status of this coupler – but at this stage my best guess is that it was replaced by 0334, as 0331 can be modified to 0334 (see http://www.jijoweb.com/tx3m1.html).

 

0334 has in turn been replaced by 0336

Other coupler changes are:

0335 has been replaced by 0337

0371 has been replaced by 0374

In all cases, they replaced a 'piano wire' spring (i.e. single bent

wire) by a coil spring

 

0373 has also been changed from the 'piano wire' spring to a coil spring, but without a number change

Very confusing; BTW, I'm looking for a couple sets of 0331's if anyone has some they'd be willing to part with :D
