Delivered from Niigata Transys to Isumi Rlwy late last month, the model is from NT's NDC model lineup.

*being lifted off flatbed trailer and placed on its bogies.  This series of railcar will replace the Fuji Juko railbuses. These railcars resemble the Ise Railway Ise III types.  I like them, much better comfort and definitely more railroady than the railbuses.

A rather expensssssive way of delivering trains... guess this is were some of the money earned from the "volunteer drivers" has gone into. Will they replace all the "nodding donkeys" (railbuses) with these two cars?

Thanks bikkuri

I'm always amazed at the Japanese crane operators who do these double crane swings so easily! Something I want to model. Hey have to figure out what to do with all those construction cranes!

Yes, once the (two) 350 series are delivered next year (same as the 300 series, but with all longitudinal seating and no toilet), the railbuses can be retired.

Darn. I though they might have been picking up some cast off 300 series Shinkansen, now that would be interesting. :cheesy

At any rate I've got an excuse to ride the line again in the future to see the new trains.
