miyakoji
A utilitarian design, but looking good in this new livery: http://rail-uploader.khz-net.com/index.php?id=1019545 . Two Tetsudo Fan links, the second showing the cars in transit to Fujikyu, looking kind of rough. http://railf.jp/news/2012/02/17/100000.html http://railf.jp/news/2012/01/22/215500.html 1 Link to comment

The_Ghan
Ahhh ... I heard about this from a friend in Japan back in November. I also heard a rumour that JR East 115 Yokosuka color on the Chuo Line will be replaced by 211 series from the Tokaido Line in the near future. The 211 series are being replaced by E233-3000 series on the Tokaido Line. Cheers The_Ghan Link to comment

I do not really follow the Fujikyu Railway. Link to comment
miyakoji
English Wikipedia says this first 3-car set was JRE's KuHa 205-11, MoHa 204-33, and MoHa 205-33. Looks like these former Keiyo/Musashino Line 205s were built in the late '80s. The whole 1461-car series was built from 1984 to 1991, so it couldn't be any newer that that. These were before the disposable 209s, hopefully they've got a lot of years left. I'm interested to see how long Fujikyu runs them. Link to comment
