gmat
Taken on Feb 12 at platform 4 the Odakyu Shinjuku treminal and am finally getting around to labeling my shots from that day. Couldn't find any reference to this one. Note the blue striping and the small display for the name. The 50000 series lacks the latter feature. Any help would be appreciated. Been shooting the three trains that will be retired. The 5000 series is the hardest to catch. You must ask each day to find the schedule but sometimes, like last night, it may not arrive as scheduled but in this case, about half an hour later. The best thing was to watch for fans hanging around track 4 or 5. It doesn't run every day either. Best wishes, Grant Link to comment
keitaro
looks like a 20000 mixed with a 50000 lol found it http://www.odakyu.jp/romancecar/line_up/20000/ rse 20000 Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
It's a JR Tokai 371 series, used on the joint Odakyu/JR Tokai Shinjuku-Numazu Asagiri service via the Gotemba Line. The service after March 17 will be cut back to Gotemba, these units will be shifted to specials (rinji ressha) on JR Tokai lines, and the Asagiri will use 60000 series MSE units exclusively. I wonder if it will be on specials all over Tokai's area. It will be strange to see that train, especially if it keeps the blue stripe, in Tokai/Chubu. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Yes, it looks more JR West(esque), though it also reminds of the Tokaido Shinkansen... Link to comment
