Looking for kato sensor track (original crossing)

Hello.

 

Although we have a little DCC layout, and we're building a bigger DCC layout, and even though we've got Lego trains and T-guage throughout the house, during the 2-day holiday this week, Nik not only drug out some old HO stuff, but decided to throw together a little n-scale DC track to go inside the HO track.  He also drug out the original Kato automatic crossing.

 

HOWEVER, it looks like we are missing one of the sensor tracks.

 

Anyone have (or can point me to a seller) of either the Kato 20-651 double track expansion for the crossing, or have some sensor tracks for sale?

Saga ended...

 

After looking at the $99 kit at "that one" online place with the nutty prices, lo and behold, one popped up on ebay for $20-some.  Have it in time for Nik's birthday, and he's having fun..... of course now he's hinting around about how to put it on the new layout (which I really can't, since it's DCC)..... and I wonder why the layout never gets done.

How is it triggered? Optical sensor or pressure?

 

Does it work in the dark?
