Recently there was coverage in the webmedia that "Japanese teens are no longer interested in sex".  Well, blogger Ampontan, smelling a rat, dug around, and here's what he found:

See how statistics and sample sizes can be twisted to fit an agenda?. Btw, I often don't agree with Ampontan on political issues, but his critiques of Western media coverage of Japan are spot-on.

 

Here’s the truth: If you choose to believe what you read in the English-language mass media about Japan, you choose the course of ignorance.
