Nittsu Schnabel car moving transformer for Chugoku Denryoku

I've seen this on Tetsudou Fan's news page (http://railf.jp/news/), Ompuchaneru, and now youtube, so I thought I'd put it out here.  Nittsu is using one of their Schnabel cars, ShiKi611 originally built for JNR by Nippon Sharyo in June 1971, to move an electric transformer to Chugoku Denryoku's Yamaguchi Substation.  Here's some footage of it in the Okayama area, being pulled by JRF's EF210-128 from their Okayama Locomotive Depot.  Video by erochan2018.

Here's some footage of a transformer being moved from ShiKi850 to a truck.  This transformer is apparently for the new Hokuriku Shinkansen, and the location is JR West's Fukuoka Station--I did a little double take here*.  All these guys deserve an oomori chashu ramen for the YOSHI at :27 in the second video.  Videos by whitewing681 (username a reference to the JRW Shirasagi Thunderbird you can see blowing through in these videos).

* note that none of the stations down in Fukuoka City are Fukuoka, only JR Kyushu's Minami-Fukuoka and Nishi-Nippon Railway's Nishitetsu Fukuoka, aka Tenshin.  The main station is Hakata.  Also note that Nishi-Nippon Railway is not Nishi Nihon Ryokaku Tetsudou, aka JR West!

Miyakoji,

Thanks very much for these. Great to see how the transformers are transferred to the trailer, quite amazing they use pipe rollers, but hey that built the pyramids!

Going to have to think on doing this scene with my ShiKi 800 or 810. Going to have to make that trailer! Too bad tomytec has not done it. Micro ace should have included it with the sets.
