gmat
Interesting comments. What do you think are the good and bad points about the subway systems in Japan's cities? http://www.japantoday.com/category/have-your-say/view/what-do-you-think-are-the-good-and-bad-points-about-the-subway-systems-in-japans-cities Best wishes, Grant 1 Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Typical JT comments section rubbish- Double decker trains, more (!) trains at peak hours? Old designs(!)...Of course, you get the inevitable comment from the Singaporean and/or Hong Konger claiming their system is better (is this some kind of propaganda put out by the authorities there?)...yeah anyway but try running a system with run-through trains from multiple operators and a system built over decades with legacy infrastructure, but that works while handling the most volume in the world. Every time I go home to the U.S. and take public transportation, if it exists that is,(and if so, convenience and ease of use are an oxymoron), I thank God that I live in Japan. 1 Link to comment
