The latest JRF magazine has an interesting article on "what if" or "I wish they built this" (i.e. proposed) railway lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area. One example is the Toei Asakusa Line bypass that would allow ltd. express trains to run between Narita and Haneda Airports unhindered by the restraints of conventional subway running.
