miyakoji
I know the youtube contributor SuperExpress1 has been mentioned here before. This forum is looking pretty quiet so here's one of his end-to-end zenmen tenbou videos. This is the Kintetsu Sakuraliner service from Abenobashi to Yoshino. It looks like it departs Abenobashi at 10:10AM, which is consistent with the information on ekikara.jp http://ekikara.jp/newdata/detail/2705121/149427.htm . Reminds me a bit of Nankai's Koya service, although the Nankai Koya Line appears to have sharper turns and steeper grades. 2 Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Thanks for the post. I took this line earlier this month (along with a jaunt down the Nagano Branch to the connection with the Nankai Koya Line). It doesn't get as much attention as Kintetsu's standard gauge lines, but shares the same aesthetics, down to the catenary style and racoon eye front ends and Pac. Elec.-style destination boards. One of these days I want to get down to the crossing of the Yamato River, to see the procession of trains rumbling over that bridge: Link to comment
