But a little criticism, and pardon my limited knowledge of electric trains here , shouldn't the pantograph be raised when tram is moving? The mechanism appears to raise the pan when the tram stops and drop it again once it starts moving. Link to comment

Martijn Meerts Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Looks good :) Of course, it brings up the point again, how much animation can you have without taking it too far. For example, why have movable pantographs if you don't have overhead wire, and then I don't just mean masts, but the actual wire as well :) I know Roco has coaches with doors that open and close. Looks really nice, until a train with 7-8 of those cars stops at a station, all doors open, and all the waiting passengers just stand and stare =) Link to comment
