stevenh
Found another video on it... It's diesel, obviously, but I would imagine it also has equipment inside to test the catenary as it has pantographs on top? Up close and personal: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=C69Uh9yx59Q Passing by: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=3IqCGd1zJFs&feature=related Also, I thought the Tomix 193系 was a model of this very locomotive, but it seems not to be. The only 193系 videos I can find online point to a very different vehicle. Here's a funny video on the Tomix model anwyay: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ULTpR3E3tOc Link to comment

Guest ___
Could've sworn I posted a reply to this thread. I Saw a cream and red one in Kyoto and hadn't a clue for the life of me what it was. I figured it might be some sort of MoW or something of a track geometry car. Link to comment

Guest ___
Did they just take the front and rear ends of an old 485/183 (or related member of the turret top family) and convert them? Link to comment
