Guest bill937ca
Kotoden is one of Japan's private railways. Located in the west of the Japan, Kotoden operates three lines out of a medium sized city. The Shido line is generally of the most interest for here you will find 80 year old cars grinding out the miles. The line is generally single track with passing sidings at stations. Inbound and outbound trains are timed to meet at stations. Like many of the local private railways much of the equipment is second hand. Bernard
One rail system, they must have extreme coordination with all trains on the line. I wished that this forum was around when I was planning my layout, there are so many scenes that would have given me a better idea the look of the area. Link to comment
