Eisenbahn
Grant....A very interesting article!!! This new station should be quite close to Sengakuji Station on the Asakusa Line and a handy point to walk between the Yamanote loop and the Asakusa Underground Line. (Perhaps shorter or easier than the Hamamatsucho-Daimon walk??? ) The other reorganisation that JR East announced in the article should be a help at Ueno. cheers.....Eisenbahn Link to comment

KenS
This is one of the things I really like about Japan. Want to develop/redevelop some land? First thing, put in a new train station to make access convenient. That's how urban planning should be. But it's going to mess up all those songs listing the Yamanote stations in order. Great news, thanks for posting Grant. Link to comment
gmat
More info about problems getting the project started. In spite of the title, the problems really concern which ward must also shoulder responsibility for funding part of the project.
